The History of CARC

-From its inception, CARC has depended on the tireless support of client families, community volunteers, and countless private and corporate donations.-
CARC operates the Country Store and Greenhouse, providing vocational placement and training for the clients, as well as a valuable botanical service to the community.
Our residents and clients reside in a variety of group homes as well as assisted and independent living arrangements both on CARC property and throughout the community. CARC provides transportation, supported employment, socialization opportunities, and ensures a safe, affirming, and positive environment for all clients.

In 1984 CARC added the Child Development Center and Rainbow Connections. This 5-Star NECPA Accredited center serves children to age 3 and coordinates early childhood screening for over 500 children every year.
